Gorgeous Girls is an adventurous dive into mixed media faces!
In each lesson we will approach a female portrait using a variety of media in different ways to create fabulous feminine faces.
Lesson One
Dive right in with exciting blends of colors and layers.
Step by step guidance, building from a simple pencil drawing to a bold and whimsical girl.
Lesson Two
We take things back to a very gentle, dreamy palette, softly sketching an expressive, meditative face using subtle tones and layers to sculpt a beautiful face.
Lesson Three
Let's get busy with some texture! A profile face this time, with full guidance, using collage elements and texture to bring a quirky, glowing face to the page. Embracing imperfections, picking out the elements to make your piece unique and accenting her with rich golden highlights.

A little about me...
My name is Sue Young and I am a mixed media artist based in UK .
I am a multi-disciplined artist and art tutor, trained in Fashion and Textiles and also Fine Art and I am SUPER passionate about mixed media art, specialising in whimsical and expressive portraits in particular.
Wherever you are in your art journey I am truly delighted you are here and look forward to sharing some of my fave techniques in this workshop.
