CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF GRATITUDE, CREATIVITY & JOY!
Join us for the 10th Anniversary Gratitude Junk Journal Workshop!
For 10 years, creatives from around the world have gathered to make art, explore gratitude, try new techniques and discover the JOY of looking at life a little differently.
And this year, we're celebrating!
10 years.
Amazing artists.
A beautiful new creative experience.
And a whole month of gratitude, creativity and JOY.
I'd love for you to join us!
MAKE GRATITUDE A DAILY PRACTICE THROUGH CREATIVITY & PLAY
What happens when you intentionally look for something to be grateful for every day?
You begin to notice things you might otherwise miss.
The ordinary.
The unexpected.
The beautiful.
The meaningful.
The little things.
Throughout November, we'll explore a new reason for gratitude each day and use creativity, reflection and play to capture some of what we discover.
Because gratitude has a way of changing what we notice.
And what we notice can change how we experience our lives.
“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.”— Thornton Wilder
🎨 CREATE YOUR GRATITUDE JUNK JOURNAL
Together, we'll transform an ordinary book into a one-of-a-kind altered art journal, a place to hold your:
Art.
Thoughts.
Memories.
Gratitude.
Treasures.
And JOY.
You'll paint, collage, layer, experiment and play while learning new mixed-media techniques.
And the best part?
Your journal will be uniquely yours.
No perfect pages.
No right way.
Just creativity, curiosity and a willingness to see what happens.
✨ 14 ARTISTS. ONE SPECIAL EXPERIENCE.

WHY GRATITUDE?
Because gratitude isn't about pretending life is perfect.
It's about pausing long enough to notice what is here.
What made you smile.
What surprised you.
What is beautiful.
What is meaningful.
What you might otherwise have missed.
Gratitude and creativity both invite us to look again.
To be curious.
To notice.
To explore.
And perhaps, along the way, to live a little more creatively, peacefully and authentically.

MEET TIARE
I'm Tiare Smith, a self-taught mixed-media artist, teacher, and creativity guide.
After stepping away from art for nearly 18 years, I found my way back—and discovered that creativity could be so much more than making something pretty.
It could be a way to slow down.
To listen to myself.
To play.
To reconnect.
To find peace and joy.
That's what I want to share with you.
My teaching style is gentle, encouraging, and step-by-step, with plenty of room for you to make the art your own.
You don't need special supplies or artistic experience and you certainly don't need to make your art look like mine.
I want you to discover what happens when you trust yourself enough to create.

I’m Kate! I am a maker and creator of all things colourful and messy from my rural home in the north of England. I have always been a creative soul but discovered mixed media art in 2008 and my enthusiasm for colourful expressive art continues to this day. I have taught many mixed media and art journaling classes over the years both in person and on line. I am also passionate about drawing, printing and rubber stamping, and now design a range of stamps and stencils for Paper Artsy. My art can be recognised by my love of colour and also a touch of whimsy. I am at my happiest when surrounded by acrylic paints, crayons, pencils and rubber stamps, and you can usually spot me by the paint up my sleeves.

Birgit is married to Erik and a mom of 3. She lives in a little village called Winsum in the north of the Netherlands.
Birgit started scrapbooking in 2003 but then fell in love with mixed media and art journaling. Her favorite things to do right now are art journaling, mono printing and layered collage art. She loves to get her hands dirty and experiment with paints and inks and all kinds of mediums.
Birgit’s art is mostly bright and colorful, with a lot of layers and details. She loves to combine colours that are very contrasting and works a lot with stamps, stencils, inks, acrylic paints and markers.
Birgit teaches and demonstrates in her own studio at home as well as in craft stores and at (international) mixed media events (pre-Covid) and taught a number of (collaborate) online classes. Teaching brought Birgit all over the world. She loves to travel, see new places, meet people and explore different cultures. She considers it a huge bonus that she is able to combine that with her love of teaching and inspiring people to create art.
